Navigation and mooring

The Amiens maritime services are located at the Port d'Amont, less than an hour's navigation from the Lamotte lock (n°16) and a few minutes from the Amiens lock (n°17). There is a floating pontoon equipped with 3 terminals with 6 water and electricity connections (2 euros for 4 hours of power), as well as a waste water pumping station (free of charge). If it’s busy, you can also go to the Port d'Aval, just after the Amiens lock (n°17), where two terminals were installed in 2016 (one opposite the Agence Fluviale and one on the pontoon at the foot of the ESIEE).

Mooring:

  • Port d'Aval, 135m quay with two water-electricity terminals.
  • Upstream of the Amiens lock, one water-electricity terminal.
  • Port d'Amont, floating pontoon with three bollards and waste water station. Mooring in front of the facility is not permitted.
  • Possibility of turning in front of the lock. Launching possible from the lock and from the Parc Saint-Pierre.

A few steps from the train station, our maritime services are an ideal place to start or end your cruises, change of captain, head to Paris, Roissy CDG airport or Paris-Beauvais, or other sites in the Somme Valley and the cycle route.
