Exposition : « Les Rendez-Vous de la bande dessinée s’affichent – rétrospective »
About
Les Rendez-Vous de la bande dessinée s'affichent? retrospective" exhibition from Friday, May 17 to Sunday, September 1, 2024
To complement its season of exhibitions dedicated to local amateur artists, the Amiens Métropole Convention and Visitors Bureau is offering an edition dedicated to comics to echo the Rendez-vous de la Bande-Dessinée, which launches on June 1.
This exhibition features posters (some for sale) from all editions of this festival, which has become a fixture on the French 9th Art calendar.
This retrospective is also an opportunity to see how the 9th Art has evolved over almost 30 years, through the eyes of internationally renowned artists (Jirô Taniguchi, Enrico Marini, Milo Manara), Angoulême Grand Prix winners (Charles Berberian, Philippe Dupuy, Enki Bilal) and innovative, multi-award-winning authors (Cyril Pedrosa, Chloé Cruchaudet and Guillaume Singelin this year)
Boule et Bill in a boat in the St Leu district, Obélix and Spirou in Place Notre Dame, Titeuf in the shadow of the cathedral or Batman perched on a gargoyle - these are just a few of the many nods to our city that bring its image to life under the pencils of the great names in comics, past and present.
The exhibition will be on view from Friday, May 17 to Sunday, September 1, 2024 (free admission Monday to Saturday - and on public holidays - from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.).
