Affectionately known as "Picardy's Little Vincennes", the Hippodrome d'Amiens has the particularity of running trotting and galloping races at night during its 26 annual meetings.
Classified as a "Pôle Régional", it hosts national and international PMU races. Located in the heart of the city, the site boasts a remarkable infrastructure, with easy access, two floodlit tracks, parking for 2,000 cars, a panoramic 400-seat restaurant, two bars and children's rides.
The jockey and his horse light up the track at every meeting, much to the delight of the public. And because nothing can replace the thrill of racing, the Hippodrome d'Amiens wants to share its love of sport and spectacle with as many people as possible.
