Architecture and Heritage Interpretation Centre
The Amiens Métropole Architecture and Heritage Interpretation Centre is the perfect place to explore the region's riches in a unique and fun way!
The Architecture and Heritage Interpretation Centre is a new exhibition space dedicated to the architecture, heritage and landscapes of Amiens Métropole and its 38 communes.
Divided into five sections, the exhibition space will introduce young and old alike to the history, heritage, architecture and landscapes of the region. Animated films will punctuate your visit, as well as models including one of Amiens, the cathedral and the belfry.
Your senses will also be awakened, as here you are invited to touch, smell and listen... You'll find samples of materials, a beaten cake mould, a balloon in your fist, a rod and string puppet. And while the smell of macaroons or peat tickles your nostrils, the sound of cathedral bells or the belfry will be ringing in your ears...
