The Héripré firm, based at Amiens, has been in business for nearly 50 years, specialising in poultry and game and preparing innovative dishes to satisfy the most demanding customers. Novelties include poultry roasts, Amiens duck pâté, chicken sausages and the famous 'ficelle picarde' (stuffed pancake) sold during the 'réderie' (flea market), made with purely local produce. Combining tradition and innovation, the Maison Héripré keeps up its success with creations such as 'boudin blanc' (white pudding/sausage) in 'gâteau battu' (brioche). For the last 3 years they have extended their range to include traditionally reared pork, "Le Porc d'Antan". The Maison Héripré has the "Terroirs de Picardie" label.
