From 11 to 27 March, the 29th Amiens Jazz Festival will be presenting over 50 great concerts for your enjoyment.
The festival has been a major feature of the Amiens music scene for nearly 30 years.
The “jazz and music from elsewhere caravan” will be making its way around Picardy from 11 to 19 March.

The town of Amiens is organising a market devoted to old or used books, comics, magazines, records, CDs, engravings, posters, postcards, etc.
On Sunday, 25 April 2010, Amiens will wake up in the festive atmosphere of its traditional spring réderie, or flea market. The Amiens flea market (or junk clear-out) has turned into the second biggest event of its kind, beaten only by our Lille neighbours’ braderie, with over 80,000 visitors.
The 71st Trade Fair of Picardy is open every day from 5 to 13 June at Megacité in Amiens. Many activities will be proposed.

At twilight, the saints, apostles and other figures carved in the stone of the frontage since the 13th century find a new life through a polychrome lighting.
Located between the cathedral and rue des trois cailloux, the stained glass gallery exhibits one of the largest collections of stained-glass windows in France.
The indispensable Guide du Routard has published a new guide devoted to Picardy. Sticking to its pocket size, the volume devotes around 30 pages to Amiens and the surrounding area, highlighting Amiens’ main attractions as a tourist destination.
Amiens, the capital of Picardy, is singled out in the Post Office’s new collectors’ postage stamp issue entitled: "The France I Love".
