Morning
10.00 am: Rendezvous at Samara, Northern Europe’s largest prehistoric nature park. Guided tour of exhibitions and reconstructions of habitats, on the theme of animals from hunting to domestication. Finish off your morning with an “introduction to rock art” workshop.

Picnic in Samara park or lunch at a restaurant (free time).
Afternoon
2.00 pm: Rendezvous at Amiens Zoological Gardens. Your class will be welcomed by a zoo presenter, who will invite the children to give thought to the evolution of biodiversity:
• Do present species bear witness to their ancestors?
• Why have some past species disappeared and how are living
species to be protected?
• How does mankind leave an indelible mark on the environment?
