The house with the tower, where Jules Verne lived from 1882 to 1900, is one of the most famous writers' houses in Europ. This 19th century town house is a must-see landmark of the regional capital. When you open the door, you enter the life, imagination and working habits of a writer. The spirit of Jules Verne is present in each room and on each floor.
His house also offers dramatised group visits, narrated by Verne himself, his wife Honorine, Melle Rose the housemaid, Verne’s publisher Pierre-Jules Hetzel, or Nelly Bly, the American journalist who beat Phileas Fogg’s round-the-world record.
