Picnics in Saint-Acheul

In the footsteps of the Man of Saint-Acheul: The guide welcomes families for a tour of the archaeological garden of Saint-Acheul, a world-famous prehistoric site. Come armed with a picnic and you can discover the prehistoric hunting weapons and even have a go at throwing an assegai!! If you’d prefer to come after lunch, a family workshop is organised early afternoon where you can make everyday objects or put yourself in the shoes of our ancestors.
