A different way to see the city

Discover the Saint-Leu district and the city centre using a time-honoured form of transport – the Calèches de Samarobriva (ancient Roman name for Amiens). You can pick one up in front of the Notre-Dame cathedral.

“The cathedral was built in just sixty years thanks to wealth made from the “guède” or the “waide” plant. This plant was used to dye fabric blue, hence the name “Amiens blue”, says the driver.

Discover the Doullennais

Enjoy the wind in your hair as you discover the Doullennais by bike. At the Pas-de-Calais border, take a trip combining architecture and nature.
