There are workshops for children from 6 to 12 years to discover Amiens and its heritage in a fun way. Children travel through time and through the city, from the cathedral to the Saint-Acheul Archaeological Garden. There’s something for everyone !

Archaeological workshops

During school holidays, these workshops are the opportunity for children aged between 6 and 12 years to discover the Saint-Acheul Archaeological Garden that covers 400,000 years of human history and the life of humans during prehistoric times.

Kids’ heritage workshops

During school holidays, these workshops take place in two or three consecutive sessions. There is a different topic each week, allowing children aged between 8 and 12 to discover the secrets of Amiens. A fun way to learn about the city’s heritage through the ages!

In July and August, these workshops take place on Saturday afternoons. The originality of the formula gives children the opportunity to discover the city’s sculpted heritage and its monuments in a fun way, and parents can take part free of charge.
