The Plant Garden

This 9.800 m² botanical garden with a regular 18th century layout, formalised by flower beds planted with box, presents collections organised according to the theme: "plants, usages, and people".

Your visit will lead you to discover many medicinal plants and the famous plant used by dye workers: woad (Isatis tinctoria), better known by the name "blue from Amiens"


Visit recommended for a group of 25 people maximum.

The visit does not systematically include access to the greenhouses.





8 am to 8 pm from 1 April to 30 September
8 am to 5:30 pm from 1 October to 31 March


2018 prices

• €118 for a maximum of 30 people, with a guide accredited by the Ministry of Culture.
• €5 per extra person, with a second guide for over 30 people.
• €82 for a maximum of 20 people.
• €80 for a maximum of 30 children in a school group.
• Supplement on Sundays and public holidays and for foreign language visits or late hours after 7 pm: €29 per guide.
