Listed as one of the most beautiful gardens in France, the Garden of Plants is laid out over a hectare. It is above all a very peaceful place and lets you wander in step with nature. Its collections are most impressive: plants in clumps and perennials, plants used in dyeing (these were a source of Amiens’ wealth in the past), remarkable trees (five-arm Cornelian cherry, Burr Oak, cladastris lutea and much more). As you wander around you can also discover the plants that we eat and use in medicine. Admire from the outside the magnificent Napoleon greenhouses that have just been restored. |

2 ha of landscape gardens emanate out from a 3,500 squared metre lake. Alongside the English-style garden is the recently created French-style garden and a rose garden with 650 old and modern roses. There is also a large collection of trees, irises and perennials. A natural river, the Avre, adds a touch of charm to this garden. |

Located on the borders of Picardy and Normandy, Château de Digeon, a 19th century painted brick manor house, is nestled in a 2.5 ha park boasting old trees, banks of irises, hydrangeas, rhododendrons and a botanical footpath. At the heart of the property, the “French-style” vegetable garden subtly blends fruit trees, vegetables, perennials, annuals and trees. This lovely harmony of plants is a cosy place to wander from spring through autumn. |
