Festi'Mômes at the Picasso cultural space

  • The extraordinary attractions of La Femme Chapiteau, 7 February at 6.00pm and 8 February at 10.00am and 2.00pm.

Puppets, toys, fans, masks, magic, juggling, plastic servant animals, and a tightrope-walking hand... A visual show, with no dialogue, set to music, La Femme Chapiteau is revealed through the movement and poetry of images. Two characters, sometimes operators, sometimes actors in their own circus, recount with their minstrels’ hands a dream voyage, based on balance and prowess.
From age 1 year.

  • The hair of the beast, 9 February at 6.00pm and 10 February at 11.00am and 2.00pm.

It’s a phantasmagoria that freely associates imagery from stories, circus and several other fantastic worlds. By movement and transformation, body and backdrop create an unusual play of appearances and disappearances, and we discover a funny human, the juggler, and a funny animal, the tightrope-walker. The Hair of the Beast invites the (more or less young) spectator to a visual experience that also plays on the boundaries between inanimate and living, choreographic art and installation art, narration and abstraction ... while thwarting some received ideas on the big "bad" wolf and the "nice" Little Red Riding Hood.

From age 5.

  • What Circus?!, 12 February 9.00am-12.00 noon; 2.00-5.00pm and 13 February 9.00am-12.00 noon; 2.00-5.00pm.

Chloé Duvauchel uses storytelling, objects and a model marquee to stretch all this material, to spin it round and bring it progressively towards the numerous domains that make up the modern circus.

What Circus?! relies on the child's imagination and thinking abilities, their desire to learn as well as their need to touch, play and create. Deconstruct, build, transform, invent, put yourself in the place of ... a different journey for everyone. But for everyone: arouse curiosity, think out of the box, arouse emotion, express it, dare to take the challenge and the pleasure of encounter!

From 5 to 9 years.

Full price: €7.50

Group: €4.50
