In fact, ‘A summer in Amiens’ brings together all of the events that will be held in the city during the months of July and August. Between entertainment, cultural events, sporting and nautical activities, or even moments of relaxation in the heart of the local nature, whether with your family, with your partner or with your friends, there’s something for everyone! Find out all about our programme for vibrant holidays in Amiens…

At Place Gambetta, 7 July - 26 August

Relax and make the most of the Amiens sun in the deckchairs and loungers in Place Gambetta. Under the 100 Tour de France coloured parasols, have a good read thanks to the Reading Box or play board games on an XXL scale!

At Parc Saint-Pierre, 7 July - 26 August

This summer in Parc Saint-Pierre, there’s something for all tastes and ages. Open 7 days a week (except 14 July due to the setup for the firework display), the park will play host to a large range of fun activities, including water games.

An adventure and sensory space especially for children will be installed with a dual climbing tower and a dual zip line.

For children from 1 to 6 there will be an early childhood space which will be in a sheltered area, reserved and under the gaze of parents. This will include a water mister, a sandpit and games and is designed to have areas of shade and plants to guarantee the best fresh atmosphere.

Seaside huts with other wooden games will also be available in the park for the little ones !

Finally, for kids from 2 years, children will be able to have fun on a water platform made up of 5 water games: a giant mushroom, 2 water pistols, a water arch, a pirate and water jets on the ground !

For all ages, food and relaxation areas will be available. A 9-hole mini golf course completes the programme to delight both big and small !

5 canoes and 7 pedalos can also be rented (upon providing valid ID) so you can let your mind sail away for a trip around the lake.

2 boules pitches, created by the Amiens Metropolitan Area technical services, will be located close to the picnic area as well as two ping pong tables which will be available for public use. The necessary equipment to play these games will also be lent to you upon providing a valid ID.

Together with our partners Procter & Gamble, there will be a relaxation and leisure space in the park for young people, close to the skate park. This includes a volleyball and a badminton court (equipment can be rented at the hut) and an open stage waiting to showcase your hidden talents !

In good weather, English coffee breaks will be held here in order to involve the highest number of young people possible and to practice English in a relaxed environment!
