Chroma, the monumental experience, season two !

The colourful spectacle at the Cathedral returns this summer from 15 June to 16 September with an unpublished painting dedicated to the Pilgrims’ Way to Santiago de Compostela. An unmissable event that will enhance your summer evenings with its glorious colour !

"Chroma" is back for a second summer on June 15th, the official launch of season two of this monumental experience. Building on its success in 2017 with more than 310,000 spectators, it will once again dress up the Cathedral in iconic paintings inspired by Gothic architecture.

This year, the Cathedral will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of its second listing in UNESCO's World Heritage List, received in 1998 under the title of Chemins de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle (the Pilgrims' Way to Santiago de Compostela). The new summer season will therefore include a new sequence inspired by these pilgrimage routes.

The second part of the show is always devoted to medieval polychromes and a guide will be present from Thursday to Sunday to tell you all about it free of charge and to answer all your questions.

A new feature is emerging this year! We have an app to help you discover even more about the show. Enriched by videos and interviews, it will help you decipher the portals, take you backstage for the show and share the secrets of this great Amiens building which is so enhanced in this renewed monumental experience.

The Tourism Office had rolled out a large range of products around Chroma. You will find in our boutique (23, place Notre-Dame) tote bags, mugs, thermos, notebooks, pens, post cards and stamps, magnets... And especially seats to go, to enjoy the show with comfort !
