On Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 February this year, Amiens will welcome a unique brass and percussion musical event at Mégacité: the 15th National Brass Band Championship.
Organised by the Musical Confederation of France, the National Brass Band Championship is THE place to be for fans of brass and is an excellent occasion for meetings, discussion and discovery for all.
For the 15th edition, 13 brass bands will face off to become French champion.

Saturday 23 February at 8:30pm, the Willbroek Brass Band in concert at Mégacité.
Formed in 1979, the Willebroek Brass Band is a university orchestra made up of 35 (semi-) professional, enthusiastic, young musicians as well as students of music academies, a certain number of musicians and the conductor, Frans Violet.
He has won over 21 Belgian titles and took home first place in the European Brass Band Championship in Plymouth in 1993. He was once again European champion in 2006 and 2007, and in 2017 he became the world champion at the Kerkrade World Music Contest!
