For hearing impaired people:

The Tourist Office is fitted with a loop detector to amplify sounds so that the travel advisor can communicate with a hearing impaired person with or without a hearing aid.

The guide and sign-language translator present this emblematic monument in detail to all audiences.

This horse-drawn carriage has a winch-operated platform enabling it to take 4 people in wheelchairs to discover the charms of the Saint-Leu district, which is the lower part of town along the canals, where a number of typical and colourful houses can be admired.
(Another trip “In the footsteps of Jules Verne” can be proposed mainly to groups).

The Musée de Picardie:

The Fine Arts Museum has the “Tourisme et Handicap” label for the mentally impaired category. This museum is one of the richest and largest of its kind in France and it regularly organises visits for the hearing impaired (sign language) and blind people (tactile visits), particularly during the national "Tourism and Handicap" days.

During the European Heritage Days, scheduled for 20th and 21st September in 2008, the Management of the "Ville d’Art et d’Histoire" programmes free and adapted visits of the city’s monuments, such as the cathedral, the belfry, the citadel, etc.

The Educational Sucrine & Féculine Farm:

The educational Sucrine and Féculine farm, in Blangy-Tronville, a few kilometres east of Amiens, reveals all the secrets of the potato, children’s favourite vegetable, the beetroot and farm animals.
This establishment received the “Tourisme et Handicap” label for the 4 categories.
